African American Heritage Night was Originally started by Black Parents at Fishers Highschool

Future Black Leaders took over the planning of the 8th Annual African American Heritage Celebration
In 2019 the African American Heritage Celebration was renamed to the Black Heritage Celebration by Future Black Leaders
The name changed stemmed from FBL students feeling they more identified with the word Black instead of African American

Future Black Leaders took a trip to the Madam CJ Walker Theatre downtown in Indianapolis. The students toured the concert hall and got to learn the history of Madam CJ Walker and her hair care business

3rd Annual Black Leadership Summit
Future Black Leaders host the 3rd Annual Black Leadership Summit Via Zoom. The Covid 19 pandemic changed the game of how FBL operates and opened the door for Future Black Leaders Inc.
Future Black Leaders host the Second Annual Juneteenth Jubilee. The event was in Collaboration with Fishers arts Council and Fishers city Council. The event was hosted at Nickel Plate Ampitheather.

Future Black Leaders takes the Juneteenth Jubilee from Fishers Equity awareness. The high school club now works with Fishers City Council, FIshers Arts Council and the Parks Department to plan the Juneteenth Jubilee for the City of Fishers.

Future Black Leaders host the 4th Annual Black Leadership Summit. One of the Innovators, Shania Byers established the Idea of Sponsorships with American Licorice Company. They donated 5,000 to Future Black Leaders FHS.

Future Black Leaders Inc. had the opportunity to pitch in the 7th Annual Connect Conference hosted by the Walter Center for Career Achievement. This annual event allows current students to pitch ideas for creative business, non-profit, and social good endeavors to a panel of alumni and experts. Winners of the challenge are awarded a prize to help execute their vision.
During this event, a few members of our Indiana University Future Black Leaders, Inc. team presented our mission, values, and initiatives to a panel of Indiana University alumni. We are so grateful for the opportunity to showcase all the work we do at Future Black Leaders, Inc. Future Black Leaders, Inc. was announced as this year Non-profit Connect Conference Winners!!!
